This 5 micron carbon filter installs into your water line to clean the water as it travels through your water pipes. Carbon filters are a great way to remove chlorine, taste, smells and other chemicals from your water. When it is full, simply discard the replaceable filter. Time to replace the filter cartridge will vary depending on your water, but will normally be about 6 months to 1 year.
