Dual purpose water conditioner system for whole house water softening and filtering.  Water softener and carbon tank filter will give you the best water for your whole house.  Not only will this system soften your water, but it will filter it as well. It also saves 50% of the water you will use for the tanks to clean themselves. As opposed to two individual separate tanks that you would normally use. One system does it all!

One tank  is a carbon filter. Which filters out many harmful contaminants from the water. Including, lead, arsenic, harmful chemicals, chlorine, chloramines, pesticides, and sediment. Additionally, it removes any unpleasant tastes and odors. After that, the water softener will soften the water. As a result, you will have the best water your home has ever seen. Soft clean and luxurious water right out of the tap.

Besides just softening the water, as most water softeners do, this dual purpose water conditioner also filters the water.

Dual purpose systems have natural color mineral tanks and ceramic rotary control valves. So no finicky pistons or cams to malfunction like virtually all other control valves on the market. So no expensive service calls. This unit comes complete with 2 mineral tanks, brine tank, gravel underbedding, high quality NSF softener resin, premium grade activated carbon, loading funnel, drain line with clamp. Standard 1″ MPT connections.

Tank Sizes:

30K:  9″ x 48″ (height to top of control valve 52.75″)

This sized unit is for small to medium families. Up to four people. Remember that a clothes washer or dishwasher counts as half a person. So if there are three people in the home, that has a clothes washer and dishwasher, this would be a good size as long is it in not a family with massive water usage. When it doubt it is always better to go up a size. If the water is above 10 to 12 GPG of water hardness. Go up a size.

45K:  10″ x 54″ (height to top of control valve 58.75″)

This sized unit is for medium sized families. 3 to 5 people. Remember that a clothes washer or dishwasher counts as half a person. So if there are four people in the home, that has a clothes washer and dishwasher, this would be a good size as long is it in not a family with massive water usage. When it doubt it is always better to go up a size. If the water is above 10 to 12 GPG of water hardness. Go up a size.

60K:  12″ x 52″ (height to top of control valve 56.75″)

This sized unit is for medium to larger sized families. 4 to 6 people. Remember that a clothes washer or dishwasher counts as half a person. So if there are five people in the home, that has a clothes washer and dishwasher, this would be a good size. As long is it in not a family with massive water usage. When it doubt it is always better to go up a size. If the water is above 10 to 12 GPG of water hardness. Go up a size.

All Dual Purpose conditioners have an 18″ x 33″ Brine tank. Or otherwise known as a salt tank. This is a big salt bin and can hold 6 to 8 40 lb bags. Most people only add salt every 6 months or a year when properly applied.
